Healthy change is good; Confidence is better
BEING OVERWEIGHT IS NOTHING TO OBSESS/CRY/LOATHE OVER. This is one of the very few things in life that you CAN altar and have complete control over. It's simple. You don't like what you see in the mirror? , DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! It's easier said than done but it's WORTH IT! Don't you think? The things you have to give up are overrated anyways.
Here are some helpful tips on achieving MAXIMUM weight loss as FAST as possible. Here we go.
1. When starting a diet, it's hard to cut out all the junk food cold turkey. So let something go, week by week. i.e 1st week:bye bye fast food, 2nd week: so long soda, 3rd week:farewell tv dinners, 4th week: good-bye any unhealthy sugary store bought snack, 5th week: ect.....
2. Eat foods high protein in the morning!!! Eating foods high in protein in the morning is extremely beneficial in appetite control. The protein keeps you fuller longer throughout the day. Avoid things like fruit when you first wake up- they are not very filling and are high in sugar which is bad for the slowed metabolism of someone who hasn't eaten in 12 hours.
3. Exercise every single day. If you can't find time in your busy day to hit the gym or go for a run, that is totally understandable. However there are things you can do during your day that help burn calories: Take the stairs instead of the elevator, bounce your legs while sitting in a chair, chew gum, park way out in paring lots to give yourself a long distance to walk, walk as much as possible, stand as much as possible, do the obvious things that require more energy.
4. Eat Slowly. The tummy is a little slow itself. Over eating occurs when a person eats faster than it's tummy can signal to the brain that it's full. Therefore, by the time you realize that your full, you've already eaten too much,
5. Eat ALOT!!! Of small meals. Eating a low calorie, small portioned, health conscious meal every few hours is a great way to speed up your metabolism and will produce amazing weight loss results!
6. Writing journal entries are a helpful way to keep your mind in check. Write down what your craving, why your craving it and most importantly why you don't need it anymore. Record your weight loss progress and thoughts you may have about it.
7. Join a support group! The easiest way to stay on track is to be surrounded by other people with the same desires and goals as you! Theres ton of websites to join and local clubs/support groups to become involved in.
8. If you just can't do it by yourself, join a program! Having someone TELL you what to eat is probably the easiest way to reach your goal. It sounds a little silly to say, but for some reason certain people respond better to a set routine than a self empowered mission. It makes sense if you think about it! NO room for error, your told what to eat, when to eat it and how much to exercise! How can you go wrong?
My overall concept of this article was to provide some sort of direction. I don't need to tell you what foods are healthy and unhealthy, you know all that. Don't stress over losing weight. It's not worth it at all. By using just a few, even one, of the tips i mentioned above, you can expect some sort of weight loss result.
Obtain a positive mindset and a strong will. Nobody can lose the weight for you, it's your responsibility; your problem. Just be healthy and the body you desire will follow! Kick back and enjoy the good things in life.
